Recently renovated, this two-story theater's accommodations are excellent. The chairs and tables are sturdy except for the bathrooms whose sinks are for your thumb and the toilet for the birds. The bar is unfortunately sans tap and sans menu excused by its below average Manhattan prices. All things considered, it is the best value on the Lower East Side. Steering away from the Coney Island circus productions the Slipper Room has at least one must-see show a week even if it is from the second floor bathroom.
