Bizarre

12 Jefferson Street, Brooklyn, New York 11206

Going to Bizarre is like traveling back to the 1980's to a neighborhood where you should never be. However, once inside you are brought back to twenty-first century Williamsburg, complete with atmospheric wooden furniture and brick walls. Shows here have a distinctive, low-budget sensibility and bohemian charm, which is unfortunately rare in other larger productions. Update: Bizarre also serves food. Over the last couple of months some of the items have been crossed out of the menu, but the few that remain are excellent. It's obvious that there are Frenchmen behind it. The burger and the pate are our favorite, but skip the baguette.
